Buddha... and his many incarnations...
below protected by Nāga, the Serpent King... in the Bayon style.
In Buddhist mythology, the Serpent is a spirit or deity of great power, often associated with water
who fights often on the side of good.

"Document the Process"

On April 3, 2011, Ai Weiwei was arrested jailed for 81 days.  He is filmed on the day of his release, June 22, 2011, returning to his home at night and being bombarded by reporters.  He looks almost ashamed at having to refuse to talk to them.  The refusal is part of the conditions of his release, as well as desisting from blogging and other forms of activism against Communist dictatorship.

However, months later, Ai Weiwei is back to blogging on the subject of China's politics...

I appreciate the effort of Director Olivier Assayas to make any tribute to music of the late 80's and 90's... the particular rock of Pixies and P.J.Harvey, the evolution of rap hip hop trip hop pop and the fusion of all to rock with Tricky and Massive Attack and others to make a list that reaches long. read more >>
